Fantastic Four Release Date Moved to June 2015, Possible Cross-over with X-Men, Plus Other News and Spoilers
The release date of the much-awaited reboot of the million dollar grossing franchise, Fantastic Four, has been moved from its original premiere date of March 6, 2015 to June 19, 2015. The Fantastic Four, which was supposed to come out way earlier, had almost been shelved due to the return of Bryan Singer, making the movie X-Men: First Class, the primary focus of Fox Studios. Finally though, we will get to see our favorite modern day superheroes save the day.
A few years back, there were rumors going around about the casting of the show. We were also one of the first to find out that the studio had been planning to do a CGI version of 'Thing' instead of casting an actor to play the role. Still, we are going to miss the original cast but with many studios doing a reboot to save costs, this direction did not came out much of a surprise. By the time it hits the theaters, it will be the tenth year anniversary of the original film with casts Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd and Mikhael Chiklis.
Fox's goal for this movie is to establish it good enough for a cross-over with another marvel adaptation, X-Men. Still, if X-Men film franchise ends with its X-Men: Days of Future Past, and the producer of the show does not get a fourth or fifth movie installment of the franchise, chances are the Fantastic Four will be crossing over with a reboot of X-Men. We hope that doesn't happen though because we just love Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
Catch the Fantastic Four release date on June 2015.
