Friends of Zion Museum gives Jerusalem Award to Rev. Samuel Rodriguez

Reverend Samuel Rodriguez was awarded the prestigious Jerusalem Award by the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem in recognition of his unwavering advocacy on behalf of the Jewish people and his commitment to combatting antisemitism.
"It is my honor and duty as a follower of Christ to stand with and defend the Jewish people against the absolute evil of antisemitism," said Pastor Samuel Rodriguez, president of the NHCLC. "Evil thrives when we stay silent, and I promise you the Hispanic church will not sit by and watch Israel suffer. We see you, we stand with you, and we will not rest until we have established a firewall against antisemitism worldwide."
The Jerusalem Award is presented to non-Jewish Zionists who have made significant contributions to the Jewish community by standing by the Jewish people and helping establish the State of Israel
"The Friends of Zion Heritage Center was established by Dr. Mike Evans to express gratitude to the friends of Israel around the world, to strengthen the bonds between Israel and its lovers and to create new friendships that will fight falsehood and evil while spreading light and optimism," said Nir Kimhi, the director and representative of the owners of Friends of Zion. "Pastor Rodriguez is here because he is a true friend of Zion, and for that, we would like to thank you."
Rev. Rodriguez has long advocated for Israel and has leveraged his position as the president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), which represents millions of Hispanic Christians worldwide, to bring attention to issues affecting the Jewish community.
The Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem has honored notable leaders, including President Donald Trump, 43rd U.S. President George W. Bush, President Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil, President Jimmy Morales of Guatemala, 4th President Rosen Plevneliev of Bulgaria, and many others, for their contributions supporting Israel and the Jewish people.
