Seventh Day Slumber Signs Deal with VSR Music Group
VSR Music Group has recently made it official that they have signed the Dove Award-winning Christian rock band, Seventh Day Slumber. The band's highly anticipated 10th studio recording will be released May 13, distributed by Capitol Christian Distribution.
"We are very excited to have Seventh Day Slumber as a part of the VSR family," said Ken Mary, President, VSR Music Group. "We have been huge fans of the band since their first recording, and we feel that their commitment to ministry and creating great music works perfectly alongside the vision we have for the label."
Seventh Day Slumber has been a staple of the Christian music scene since their debut in 1996. The band has recorded nine albums, selling a combined total of nearly 500,000 units. In 2009, the band's Rescatame garnered a GMA Dove Award for Spanish Language Album of the Year.
Seventh Day Slumber has charted five #1 singles and 14 Top 10 hits on Christian CHR and rock radio. Their signature songs include "Oceans From The Rain," "Inside Out," "Caroline," "Finally Awake" and "Wasted Life." Throughout their career, the band has maintained an active touring schedule, bringing their powerful live show to countless festivals, fairs, churches and colleges throughout the country.
