NBA Live 15: Complete List of Songs for Video Game Soundtrack Revealed
Electronic Arts (EA) Sports' NBA Live 15 basketball video game for the PlayStaXbox One platforms will be available in stores beginning October 28. It will feature Damian Lillard, point guard of the Portland Trail Blazers, as its cover athlete. Compared with last year's edition of the game, there have been some significant improvements. According to EA Sports, "This year, we've improved the AI to run a proper fast break by filling their proper lanes. The improvements also extend to pick and rolls. We've added a feedback system that shows if screeners will pick, pop or roll to the rim for a bucket. Playcalling has been simplified, allowing players to call quick action plays at the press of a button. This will get your players moving on offense by setting screens, cutting to the basket, or getting to open spots on the floor. Use this to quickly exploit a mismatch or opportunity once it presents itself."
The 26-song collection making up the NBA Live 15 soundtrack has been curated by MICK, a professional DJ, who told Billboard: "As music curator for NBA Live 15, I really tried to identify a unified sound and tone for the game. In order to make a notable playlist, it's all about the selection and vibe. It's about finding artists other brands aren't using. It's about finding the new songs before other people hear about them. It's about finding the songs from your favorite artists that people may have missed. There are lots of ways to go about it. I try to combine all of the above into one cohesive feel and sound."
The songs MICK selected for NBA Live 15 are: 813, "Thank You"; Federal Reserve, "Still Dipset" feat. Cam'ron, A-Trak & Juelz Santana; A-Trak x Milo & Otis, "Out The Speakers" feat. Rich Kidz; Bas, "Charles De Gaulle To JFK"; Bishop Nehru, "You Stressin'" (Prod. by Disclosure); Bodega Bamz, "Young And Livin"; Brooke Candy, "Opulence"; Chuck Inglish, "Gametime" feat.
