'Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1' Trailer: Jennifer Lawrence Examines the Damage (Preview)
According to the reports of Deadline, Lionsgate released the first "Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1" trailer has finally arrived. The latest trailer shows Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen returning to District 12. The new trailer although short in length but it gives hint that this film can be as popular as its previous movies. However, unfortunately when she got there she saw the destruction done by the capitol to her home, one that she never expect to happen...not that she ever wanted!
The "Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1" starts with the voiceover between Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee and Julianne Moore as Alma Coin. They are planning on how they can possibly convince Katniss to unite with them on the revolution. Heavensbee then said, "Let her see what the Capitol did to District 12."
So, from there you can see from the trailer that Katniss sees the damage done to District 12. Seeing everything, Katniss remained standing despite that very big destruction while playing the song "Yellow Flicker Beat" that Lorde recorded exclusively for "Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1" movie which will be in theaters on Nov.21.
In addition, The Wrap reported that Lionsgate sets the world premiere of "Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1" on Nov.10. This will be held in London at Leicester Square. Moreover, the press tour will be launched that will star in Beijing then will stop in selected places like Seoul, Los Angeles, London, and New York together with the casts Sam Claflin, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and of course, Jennifer Lawrence.
Lionsgate further announced that there would two promotions dated Oct.29. The first promotion would be the advance sales (first day) in U.S. The ticket buyers of Fandango are required to enter because there is this greater chance for them to win. What would be the price at stake? Free trip to London premier of "Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1" movie, and there's more! All purchases from Fandango.com, AMCTheaters.com, MovieTickets.com, and Cinemark.com will be receiving "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" FREE download on VUDU. Nov.17 is the scheduled date for the Los Angeles premiere at Nokia Live Theater.
