What's Up with 'True Detective Season 2?'
Fans are quite excited to hear more about the latest buzz on "True Detective Season 2." The next season is just around the corner and everyone is very eager to find out more about the production of the show.
At present, the new cast members have been found. It has been said that the new cast members are really amazing actors. However, these top caliber actors sticking around to really commit to "True Detective Season 2" has to be seen. As for the main cast's real lives, Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams and Vince Vaughn seem to have their lives lived quite normally, nothing to cause a stir in the tabloids. Well, you have good citizens in them.
Many would agree that True Detective's first season was indeed a good one not just for HBO, but for the TV viewers as well. This police detective show received quite satisfactory reviews. Well, what can you expect from a show with the best actors in the lead role?
It has also been announced that there will be major changes on the format of True Detective's second season. There has been news on the production crew's decision to possibly make the next season have quite a different structure than the first season since it will have a different storyline, and will have to follow different characters. The viewers might find this more exciting.
Cary Fukunaga of Season 1 will not be directing anymore on the second season of True Detective. Season 2 will have multiple directors, quite refreshing to the typical one man architect that is usually the trend to most series. There will also be a new setting, and it has been decided on by the production. Actually, what remained from the first season's production and crew is Nic Pizzolatto, the showrunner.
While it will prove to be a challenge for the new show production to still enthrall the viewers, the amount of intrigue that already surrounds True Detective's second season is already enough to have good ratings for its pilot episode. All the show production needs to present is a storyline that will remain the viewers to the edge of their seats.
Pizzolatto has said that the main storyline of Season 2 will be on "the secret occult history of the US transportation system, bad men, and hard women". This is certainly something refreshing to the TV viewers' eyes. The tentative date of release for "True Detective Season 2" will be on Spring 2015.
