U2 New Song on Super Bowl 2014 Commercial Called "Invisible" With Free Download
U2 fans now have extra incentive to pay close attention to the commercials at next week's Super Bowl. The world famous band will be teaming up with Bank of America and (RED) for a 60 second ad featuring their new song "Invisible". After the commercial airs, the song will be available as a free download on iTunes for 24 hours following the broadcast.
For each download of the song, Bank of America will donate $1 to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (up to $2 million). In 2006, Bono co-founded the international charity (RED) to fight the mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
Ad time for the 2014 Super Bowl on Fox sold out the beginning of January and has been reported some 30-second slots went for as much as $4 million. Tune into the Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 2 on FOX to see the showdown between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks.
U2 rocked the Super Bowl halftime show in back in 2002 and the legendary rock band will be Jimmy Fallon's first musical guest when he debuts as host of the "The Tonight Show" on Monday, Feb. 17.
