'Modern Family Season 6' Episode 3 Recap: Phil Tries To Keep His Secret As The Source of 'The Cold'; Jay, Gloria Helps Stressed Manny
Emmy's Outstanding Comedy Series for the year is set to bring more laughter with its sixth season's third episode.
In "Modern Family Season 6" episode 4, a serious cold strain will hit the Dunphys. Titled "The Cold," the episode is about the horrible sickness that plagues the family.
The high-rating comedy show started its sixth season three months after Mitch and Cam's wedding. Coming back from their honeymoon, the "Modern Family" suspects the virus is brought by Mitch and Cam from their Mexico escapade.
Referring to a released teaser, IBTimes reported that Claire, Cam's sister, is the first victim of the two-week bronchitis. Aside from her the family's matriarch, Gloria played by Sofia Vergara, and Manny played by Rico Rodriguez also have their share of troubles because of the cold.
Gloria complains she had no choice but to wear flats because she is "feeling too dizzy for high heels." Manny, on the other hand, "missed two days of his culinary camp."
The irritated Claire thinks the cold was transferred to her by his brother saying, "My stupid brother got a cold in Mexico on his honeymoon and it made its way to the family."
Mitch also thinks the virus was contacted by his husband in Mexico.
Little did they know that neither of them has suspected the right person because, according to TVEquals, the suspected from-Mexico-with-love virus is not really from the foreign country.
The cold in fact started with Phil played by Ty Burrel. He discovered that he is the prime suspect for the sickness as he review Mitch and Cam's wedding video.
After figuring out that there will be evidence against him, Phil will do some editing to hide his dark secret from the rest of his family.
Aside from the cold plague in the Dunphy's household, head of the family Jay and Gloria is also having a conflict in terms of easing Manny's stresses about his high school football. Cam, as the coach of the football team, is also having a hard time in 'whether or not he should bench his nephew.'
Mitch has also her share of issues as a rivalry between her and Lily's new friend starts. Lily's new friend, Sydney 'is a very smart girl' and Mitch, like her husband, is not a fan of being upstaged.
