"Dumb and Dumber To" Release Date, Spoilers: Take Two for Carrey and Daniels!
Writer and Director Peter Ferrelly gave this promise "Same and More!" when asked why people should watch the new bosom buddies comedy 'Dumb and Dumber To', a Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey hookup.
Everyone knows that this is a great sequel of their 1994 hit movie 'Dumb and Dumber'. The original movie was a huge success with $247 million dollars earnings. Will the sequel,' Dumb and Dumber To', earn the same or maybe surpass the original? Let us wait and see!
The story will start with a logical explanation of why we haven't seen Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) and Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) for so many years. We'll find out that Lloyd is in a hospital for 20 years.
Heart-broken Lloyd became catatonic and Harry visited him every day in the hospital. Finally, Lloyd "wakes-up" from his condition; only he was faking it for twenty years! Awesome, but dumb gag, right?! But hey what do you expect? It's 'Dumb and Dumber To'!
So anyways, the plot line of the new movie is about the second get-together road trip of Lloyd and Harry after twenty years. They are on a quest once again! Back for some more mix-ups and what not. The two chaps decided to look for the long-lost daughter of Harry in the hopes that she will help him with his kidney problems. Will she help? Or be dumb enough not to care?
The reunion movie will also have Laurie Holden as the character Adele Picklow and Kathleen Turner as the character Fraida Felcher. Jennifer Lawrence will also have a cameo role as the younger version of Fraida Felcher.
The geniuses of this movie are writers Mike Cerrone, Bennett Yellin, Sean Anders, John Morris and Bobby and Peter Farrelly. 'Dumb and Dumber To' is under the magic of Universal Pictures.
With a script that took almost two years to write - revisions and all - moviegoers will unmistakably enjoy all the misadventures of Harry and Lloyd! The team of writers made sure that the sequel is as good as the first! The followers of 'Harry and Lloyd 'tandem will be happy to hear that!
Mark your calender! November 14, 2014!
