Mortdecai is an upcoming action comedy film that would be released on January 23, 2015 by Lionsgate. Johnny Depp, as the main actor of the movie will act as Charlie Mortdecai, a part-time rogue that must traverse across the globe armed only with his good and impressive looks and special charm. He is in a mission to cover a stolen painting that said to be containing a code a lost bank account that's filled with Nazi gold.
Mortdecai will be starring the famous Hollywood stars namely, Ewan McGregor as Inspector Martland, Gwyneth Paltrow as Johanna; Paul Betanny as Jock Strapp; Jeff Goldblum, Oliver Patt and Aubrey Plaza to name a few.
David Koeep, the film director of the said movie, has first published on April 23, 2014 that the movie will be released on February 6, 2015 but then the date shifted to January 23, 2014 announced very recently last September 24, 2015. Lionsgate will soon announce on February 7, 2015 if there will be another instalment, or they will be creating another franchise for the film.
Mortdecai will indeed showcase Johnny Depp's forte when it comes to this unique and savvy role that only him in the Hollywood can portray. As the story will go on, it will be evident that Johnny Depp's comedy role will be one of the legendaries to talk about in the Hollywood sphere.
