Far Cry 4: News, release, trailers, preorder surprises!
The fourth installment of the Far Cry game franchise is coming soon. The action-adventure shooting video game is developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Far Cry 4 will be released this 2014 as a sequel of the 2012 shooting game Far Cry 3.
The Far Cry 4 trailer was earlier released that's to be seen in gaming websites and blogs and also in YouTube where we see the Far Cry 4 protagonist, Ajay Ghale, In a bus/train and later on he meets Pagan Min in a bloody way.
The fourth installment of the Far Cry series has a map that may be the same size as Far Cry 3 but it also happens to be a lot denser according to the game's senior level designer Vincent Ouellette in which he told IGN and EGX that we should expect the upcoming title to take a lot longer to fully explore compared with last time. "Animals were a big focus too. Everything gameplay related helped choose the location, but we wanted elephants, rhinos, honey badgers, eagles and stuff. It needed to be exotic as well. The Far Cry experience... we're not a military shooter, the world is treated as a main character so it has to be intriguing and make you want to stick around and explore." Says Ouellette.
Aside from the exciting new features for the game, another trailer also shows off what the gamers could get for preordering as all preorders for the Far Cry 4 are automatically upgraded to the limited edition that comes with 3 exclusive missions featuring Hurk (from Far Cry 3), a "ridiculously powerful" harpoon gun called the Impaler and where they unlock "more monkeys".
Far Cry 4 is set to be released for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 8.
