Gwen Stefani New Solo Album Releasing December 2014 Produced by Fellow 'Voice' Coach Pharrell Williams
New "The Voice" Season 7 coach Gwen Stefani is riding high but not taking it easy. Along with putting in hours on the hit NBC show, she has been working on a new No Doubt record AND a new solo record.
Even more exciting, is that fellow coach Pharrell Williams is producing the new album and he always brings out the best in her. He helped No Doubt with their breakout hit "Hella Good" and also with her biggest hits on her last solo album The Sweet Escape.
Billboard magazine reports that Gwen will also perform her first single from the new album on "The Voice" stage later this Season.
2006 was the last time that Gwen released a solo album and she has had her plate full being a mother to their three sons. But she is back in the studio and hoping for a 2014 release date.
Stefani's manager Irving Azoff revealed in a panel at New York's Advertising Week on Monday (Sept. 29) that Gwen is currently in Miami recording with Pharrell Williams.
Including her work with No Doubt, Stefani has sold more than thirty million albums worldwide. She won the World's Best-Selling New Female Artist at the World Music Awards 2005. In 2009 Billboard magazine ranked Stefani the fifty-fourth most successful artist and thirty-seventh most successful Hot 100 artist of the 2000-09 decade.
You can watch Gwen along with Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on Monday and Tuesday nights as they coach on "The Voice" on NBC at 8/7c.
