"Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" is the comedy film which is set to release on 9th October 2014. As the movie, "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" is produced by Walt Disney Pictures and directed by Miguel Arteta it is expected to be a good comedy film. The movie is based on a 1972 children's' book of the same title. The book was written by Judith Viorst and was illustrated by Ray Cruz.
The star cast for the movie, "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" are Steve Carrel (who is playing the role of Alexander's father), Jennifer Garner (plays the role of Alexander's mother), Ed Oxenbould (plays the role of Alexander), Dylan Minenette (plays the role of Alexander's brother) and Kerris Dorsey (plays the role of Alexander's sister).
'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day' is the story of 11-year-old Alexander as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life-a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he's not alone when his brother, sister, mom and dad all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn't had one.
Although it's a comedy with a family theme, the film is rated as Parental Guidance or PG. The reason behind the PG rating is due to some "rude" humor.
On April 1, 2014, Christophe Beck was hired as a music composer. On August 29, it was announced that Walt Disney Records would release the soundtrack album on October 7, 2014. The album features the songs from the film, includes the new tracks by various artists like The Vamps, Kerris and Justine Dorsey, The Narwhals, Charles William and IDK & The Whatevs.
