"All About You" by Hilary Duff - New Music Video for the Catchy Tune
After a long hiatus, Hillary Duff is back with a new music video for her latest song "All About You." The single is a catchy song from her upcoming album. The song was written by Hilary Duff herself together with Kristian Lundin, Savan Kotecha, and Carl Falk. The song was released last August 12, 2014 and there has been some positive review to the song. Nolan Feeney said that "All About You" has the same "twangy folk-pop vein" and is a great comeback song. He also wrote about a comparison between the two stars - Taylor and Hilary, are inevitable but again mentioned that "Duff's nod to her Texan roots" is "attention-grabbing" and effortless.
Music Times have nothing but praise with Duff's latest single. They mentioned that Duff vocals and the song's instrumentation is a great combination. They've added, "Chalk this one up as an actually sunny win for Duff."
The music video for "All About You" started with a scene from a coffee shop with Duff taking a picture of a man she's interested in. She went and go about her day - dancing lessons and all but she can't seem to take her mind off of him. Duff and her friends decided to look for the guy all across town until she found him. The video is adorable - nothing raunchy all decent. For Duff fans that has followed her career since Lizzie McGuire, it is nice to see the matured Hilary Duff - battle wounds and all. She's a mother now and recently divorce and you can sense that in her music.
The song is really catchy and light. It can actually lighten your mood. Some of the lyrics of the song says, "Think you're all about me but I'm all about you / Turn the lights down let me show you it's true!"
I'm sure all the fans out there cannot wait to hear the rest of the album. Duff told E!News, "I've worked very hard and the album is a great representation of the experiences I've had in my life and where I want to go from here. I'm really proud of the album I've made."
We all know that it has been a while for Duff, but with a song like "All About You," it's not that farfetched that she is set to have a successful comeback to the music industry.
