Carrie Underwood Releases Her Most Inspirational New Single "Something in the Water"

It's been 10 years since Carrie Underwood appeared on "American Idol" and won. Now she is a big country music star ready to release her first ever greatest hits collection. In lieu of a new album, "Greatest Hits: Decade #1" will feature a couple of new songs. The first to be serviced to radio is "Something in the Water."
This new track will be available for digital download starting Monday. Underwood wrote "Something in the Water" with Chris DeStefano and Brett James; Mark Bright produced the track. This country ballad speaks of how Underwood's life was changed after meeting a preacher man by the river. A track that could speak of her spiritual transformation after meeting Jesus.
"Something in the Water is so inspirational," Underwood said via a new release. "It's joyous! I can't help but smile when I hear it. I hope it has the same effect on everyone who listens to it."
