'Hawaii Five-0' Season 5: Why You Should Never Miss the 100th Episode
"Hawaii Five - 0" season 5 is set to premiere Friday, Sept. 26. It was reported the Jorge Garcia will be a regular cast for this season. Aside from his announcement, there are a myriad of reasons why fans should be excited for the upcoming season. Here are some reasons why you should never miss "Hawaii Five - 0" season 5:
Detective Lieutenant Chin Ho Kelly, portrayed by actor Daniel Dae Kim, as reported by BRETHEcast, will be promoted to the office. They further claimed that it could start another story arc later in the season. This is something that fans can be excited of.
Additionally, actress Amanda Setton is now part of the "Hawaii Five - 0" season 5 cast. She will play Dr. Mindy Shaw, the new M. E. This was reported by TV Line. According to executive producer Peter Lenkov, a romance with Danny is something that the production can look into and develop. It can be remembered that Setton also appeared in a short-lived show "The Crazy Ones" which was led by Sarah Michell - Gellar and Robin Williams.
"Hawaii Five - 0" will have its 100th episode this season, and to celebrate this benchmark, the production team has worked to make it a truly focal point in the storyline of, not just the season but the whole series. This episode is something that no H50 fan should miss. Why is that? For one, Peter Lenkov confirmed that the episode would give light to McGarret's nemesis Wo Fat, who is being portrayed by action star Mark Dacascos. He even went as far as saying that "there's some really big surprises coming up with regards to him (Wo Fat)". Furthermore, when asked during an interview if Will Doris would return to answer for all she'd done, Lenkov alluded to the 100th episode and said that viewers would understand why holding off the reunion for a little while makes sense. This basically means the answer to that question is a "no" and the 100th episode will, be able to give light to it. Also, the 100th episode will also feature some unique flashbacks which tie into the current story.
Last but not the least, Kono fans would love to hear that H50 will be doing an episode about her. According to Lenkov, it will be like "a Kono origin story".
Hawaii Five-0 Season Five will air via CBS starting on Sept. 26, at 9 p.m.
