Fantastic Four Release Date, Reveals, Rumors, Plot Reviews and Updates: New Casting for Human Torch Role Upsets Fans
This is an upcoming American superhero film based on Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It is the third Fantastic Four film to be distributed by 20th Century Fox and also reboot of the Fantastic Four film franchise after past failed attempts. The film is directed by Josh Trank and stars Miles Teller; Kate Mara; Michel B. Jordan; Jamie Bell and Toby Kinberg. The idea of the film was conceived by Kinberg and Trunk with a screenplay by Jeremy Slater. The film is said to be based in part on the Ultimate Fantastic Four comic books although it won't completely follow the original comic book storyline. The film has been scheduled to premiere in June 19th 2015.
Fantastic Four is originally based fictional superhero team appearing on comic books published by Marvel comics. They first made an appearance in #1 (cover dated November 1961), this appearance helped to usher in a new level of realism in the medium. Fantastic Four was the first team created by the writer-editor Stan Lee and artist/co-plotter Jack Kirby. As the first superhero team produced by Marvel Comics, it created a cornerstone of the 1960s rise from a small division of publishing company to the now known pop culture today.
After two failed attempts, fantastic four hits the screens once more although not with a very good welcome from its once fans. Since its inception, Fox's Fantastic Four reboot has been criticised as being a bastardized knockoff of the classic Marvel Comics property. The two major reasons why hardcore fans are upset over this new take on Fantastic Four (shepherded by Chronicle director Josh Trank)is firstly it unorthodox casting choices as most fans are not very pleased by the new black Human Torch. Secondly is the script that fans claim even when wrapped in secrecy seems to be taking some big liberties with the comic book source material. Though with a shaky send off, fans have their fingers crossed hoping this won't end up being another disappointment as the past attempts.
