Since the accelerator explodes, Allen was struck by lightning, and suffered a coma. Upon waking up, he discovered a newly found ability of speeding himself, totally different from his previous capacity, and ordinary human. The acceleration speed is called a superhuman speed. However, during the explsion, he was not the only metahuman formed. Barry collaborates with S.T.A.R. Labs dedicating his life to rescue and protect the innocents. Currently, the speed ability is not revealed to the people around him, except those that are closest to him.
