The Bourne 5 movie have been getting a lot of buzz online. There continues to be leaked information being released and everyone is trying all that they can to know more about the fifth installment of the Bourne franchise.

Rumors about the cast include that Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass are both returning to work together for the 2016 film. This rumor first came out on Latino Review. And although a lot of people were very excited about it, Frank Marshall stated that this may not be true.

In his previous interviews, Matt Damon expressed that he is very open to starring in another Bourne movie but with the condition that Paul Greengrass will be behind the camera directing the movie. Greengrass directed the previous sequels that Damon also starred in like The Bourne Supremacy and Bourne Ultimatum.

This famous British filmmaker also helmed the successful Captain Phillips. In an interview late last year, he did say that he has given his all in the two Bourne movies he directed and that he wouldn't want to direct another, not unless he knows that he can make something just as good as them or come up with one that will be better.

Another big rumor going around about the film is that they will be hiring a new screenwriter. Because the fourth installment of the movie did not get so much praise compared to the other movies, the team may have decided to bring in a new screenwriter to spice things up. Anthony Peckham wrote the first Sherlock Holmes movie and reportedly will be writing for Bourne 5.

The film was supposed to be released on August 14, 2015 but Universal Pictures announced that this will be moved to July 15, 2016.

Let's hope that the Damon - Greengrass tandem will really return for the Bourne 5 movie!
