'Criminal Minds Season 10' Latest News and Update: Thomas Gibson Directing And A New Killer Comes To Town
Loyal fans of the hit series Criminal Minds can't wait for Season 10 to start. The previous season left us all hanging and wondering about how the events are going to affect Season 10. Reid almost died. It's a good thing that Penelope is around to save him. But how will it affect the whole team - JJ, Rossi, Penelope, and Hotch.
By now, we are all aware that the provocative Jennifer Love Hewitt is going to be on "Criminal Minds" Season 10. We also know that Season 10 is going to be "big" - Criminal Minds Season 10 is going to introduced a new villain - someone who has a "fetish" for amputated limbs and amputees. Kerr Smith will play the role of this season's bad guy.
It was also rumored that Thomas Gibson is going to direct the sixth episode of Criminal Minds Season 10. A picture of the actor, sitting on the director's chair, has added fuel to the fire. According to sources, a new "long-term" villain is going to be introduced this season. There's no news yet, as to who will play the role or when will the new villain going to be introduced, in the series. The cast and crew are rumored to be using a codename for the show's new villain. Nothing is confirmed but this is really exciting. A long-term villain challenges the team and it brings out the best out of each character.
Executive Producer Erica Messer said, "You see that there is a bigger thing going on. It'll be a big case we touch on again midway through the season." She added that the show writers still have not gave that person a nickname yet. "We have our own little shortcut in the [writers'] room, but we haven't landed on anything yet to put out there."
