Bloodborne Release Date, News, Reveals, Review and Plot: Bloodborne Gameplay, Weapons and Tactics Revealed
The next project from the From Software developers who are also behind Demon Souls and Dark Souls is Bloodborne. As such, it inherits a lot of the core principles that are seen in the predecessor games and looks a lot like them similarly. Apparently, the release date for Bloodborne has been slated for February 5th 2015. The game is going to be available for Playstation 4. At the present, there has been no news about the platforms, X Box One or PC. On the other hand, the announcement was made by and for the Japanese media and audience, which have a special preference for Playstation releases and do not consider X Box.
There are a lot of things which are interesting about Bloodborne, for example there is a lot of intricate gothic architecture. There is also a tense and oppressive atmosphere which is noticeable and the thing that one can hardly miss is the amount of blood there is in the game. The title has to stand for something I suppose. It douses everything including the clothes of the protagonist and the streets. When you look at the gameplay trailer, one can notice the amount of blood spilled especially after fights.
The other exciting thing about the game is the unique selection of weapons available. They are engineered to bring as much bloodshed as possible in a fight and would prove to be quite interesting for those who have no problem with gore. For example, there is a battle ax that can expand into a gigantic sword. The transformable weapons potentially support up to three move sets. In this way, they add greater depth as well as sophistication. They can also be used in different ways. There are other weapons which can be charged up in order to release a more devastating set of attacks on to the enemy. It appears that Bloodborne's gameplay in terms of combat is going to be as intense as everyone expects.
