John Stamos Joins 'Members Only' ABC Drama Series Alongside Natalie Zea
"Full House" star John Stamos will be joining the ABC show "Members Only". The show, formerly named "The Club" gives insight into a Connecticut country club.
Stamos has been cast to play Randy, a "fast-talking" hedge fund billionaire who only receives membership to the club because of his wife Mickey (Natalie Zea).
"Members Only", created by Susannah Grant and David O. Russell is described as an upstairs/downstairs drama set at an exclusive Connecticut country club, centered on the club's leisure-class members and the working-class employees that make the place tick.
The comedy series is written by Danny Chun ("The Office") and will feature Stamos playing a version of himself, a 'charismatic lifelong ladies man whose life is upended when he discovers that he has a grown son who is nothing like him.
Since "Full House" wrapped in 1995, Stamos has appeared in numerous television films and series. Since 2005 he has been the national spokesperson for Project Cuddle. From 2006 to 2009, Stamos had a starring role on the NBC medical drama ER as Dr. Tony Gates. In September 2009, he began playing the role of Albert in the Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie. In 2013, he assumed a recurring role in season three of the USA Network television series Necessary Roughness, which stars Callie Thorne.
Natalie Zea is best known for her roles as Gwen Hotchkiss on the NBC daytime soap opera "Passions" (2000-2002), as socialite Karen Darling on ABC primetime soap opera "Dirty Sexy Money" (2007-2009), as Winona Hawkins in the FX crime drama "Justified" (2010-present), and as Claire Matthews in the Fox series "The Following" (2013-2014).
