iOS 7 Versus iOS 8 Rumors, Updates, Reveals and Review: New Features and Advantages, as well as Installation Requirements
The iOS 8 is the latest software update which is targeted for the iPad users. It is expected that the release date of the iOS 8 will be a week after the Apple announcement sometime this week on 9th. This will be a few days before the release of iPhone 6. The release date for the iOS 8 iPad could be the same as the iOS 8 iPhone. In essence the iOS 8 is a free update which is going to add features without a major change to the look of the software like the way the iOS 7 did last time. As such, the iOS 8 should be thought as the remedy for the bugs that are present with the iOS 7. The iOS 8 software update comes with a lot of new features but not all of them will be available for the older generation devices. As such, the handsoff feature which relies on the new Bluetooth mode will be available on the iPad 3 but it will not be available to the iPad 2.
The other things users should expect with the iOS 8 include a better messaging app and new photo options. The thing with the new iOS 8 update is that it is going to be available to all of the iPads which are currently running the iOS 7. This includes the iPad 2 older version though, it may not have access to all of what the iOS 8 update has to offer. For those who are using the iOS 7 update, it would be advisable to use the latest version of the iOS 7 software before installing the iOS 8 update. This is for transitioning purposes, because updating a iOS 7.0 to the iOS 8 would not be possible. The other thing to do is free up the storage space. Judging by the space, the iOS 7 needs, and the iOS 8 would probably be in the neighborhood of 700 MB. Taking into account, additional files and such, the overall capacity needed would be 3GB.
