The show picks up six people who are completely strangers to each other. The show tries to match them based on the scientific data by a panel of doctors. They are then brought to the marriage ceremony where they get married to each other by seeing each other for the first time. The show then follows them through after the marriage to check if the match really works well and finds true love. As per the latest episodes, it looks that couples are struggling to maintain their relationship and facing lots of troubles in understanding and coping with each other.

The show has already garnered huge popularity with viewership touching 600,000 number. With the grand success of the 'Marriage at First Sight' season 1, FYI has immediately announced the renewal of season 2 with 11 episodes and 3 new couples in 2015. The show is aired on FYI on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. Let's see if the couples are a perfect match for each other and whether the experts really succeed or fail in matching up the best couple.
