Foxcatcher Movie Release Date, News, Trailer, and Updates: NEW Teaser Trailer Released online 

A brand new teaser trailer for the film has been released online.

The Film stars Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, and Mark Ruffalo. The film details the story of Olympic Wrestling champion Mark Schultz (Tatum) and how his paranoid schizophrenic coach John du Pont (Carrel) murdered his brother, also an Olympic Champion, Dave Schultz (Ruffalo).

The film debuted in competition for the Palm d'Or at Cannes Film Festival back in May 2014, in which director Bennett Miller won Best Director for the film. It has been met with acclaim from critics praising the performances from Carell, Tatum, and Ruffalo. Steve Carell and Channing Tatum might not be such an obvious choice for a heavy drama film, but director Bennett Miller made the conscious decision saying that "That it's not obvious was part of the reason why it was right." Director Bennett Miller also cast comedian Jonah Hill for his film Moneyball, which ultimately earned Hill with an Academy Award nomination. Oscar buzz has been rampant for the film, and it will be facing heavy hitters for this year's Fall Movie season. If Academy Award nominations are on the way for Carell and Tatum, it would definitely be a career changing film for the actors. Mark Ruffalo received an Academy Award nomination back in 2010 for his performance in The Kids are All Right.

Bennett Miller is also notable for directing the film Capote which details the life of author Truman Capote, which starred late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Foxcatcher will be released on November 14, 2014.
