Arrow Season 3 Release Date, Trailer, and News: NEW TV Spot teases Oliver and Felicity Romance
Numerous avid fans of The CW's hit superhero action television series "Arrow" spotted a new TV spot for the upcoming season.
Not only do we get a preview of Peter Stormare's Count Vertigo, that's not what fans are really excited for. Oliver and Felicity share a kiss on the new TV spot, and has 'Olicity' shippers going nuts over the development. It's pretty clear that writers of the show know what the fans want, and they want Oliver and Felicity to be together. The idea of the characters being a couple has been teased for the last two seasons, and it seems like it's going into fruition this coming third season.
In other news for Arrow season 3, it has been reported that actress Devon Aoki has stepped out of the role of Tatsu Yamashiro. The character was originally planned to be part of the series' flashbacks when Oliver Queen spends time in China. The character is also known as Katana, who is a master martial artist who will allegedly give Oliver some much needed training. The role has now been given to Rila Fukushima, who's most notable performance was back in 2013's The Wolverine where she played Yukio.
Another addition to the cast is Glee and Awkward alum Nolan Funk who is rumored to play Felicity Smoak's ex-boyfriend from her days in MIT in a 5 episode guest starring role. The character is reportedly named Cooper Seldon (Sheldon Cooper nod from The Big Bang Theory, perhaps?) who is a hacker.
Arrow Season 3 premieres on October 8 at 8/7c on The CW.
