The Legend of Zelda X Mario Kart 8 and Animal Crossing X Mario Kart 8 release dates and price
If you've ever wished racing with Zelda in the Mario Kart in the wildest imaginations, the wish has come true. Nintendo is bringing exclusive characters for Mario Kart 8 in two downloadable content packs that feature Villager from Animal Crossing, Tanooki Mario from Super Mario Bros. 3, and Link from The Legend of Zelda.
Nintendo intends to release these DLC packs separately. The Legend of Zelda X Mario Kart 8 release date is expected in November 2014, while Animal Crossing X Mario Kart 8 will be released in May 2015.
However, both the packs are open for advance purchases starting today, 27 Aug. The cost of each DLC pack is $7.99 but you can get the bundled pack at just $11.99. When purchased in advance, this bundled pack allows using Shy Guy and Yoshi characters right off.
The Legend of Zelda X Mario Kart 8 packs includes Link, Cat Peach and, Tanooki Mario along with four vehicles and eight courses. (Release: November 2014)
On the other hand, Animal Crossing X Mario Kart 8 features Isabelle, Dry Browser, and Villager with four vehicles and eight courses to race on. (Release: May 2015)
With the inclusion of classic Mercedes-Benz cars (Silver Arrow, 300 SL Roadster, and Mercedes-Benz GLA), dozens of new features, and intriguing courses from Animal crossing and The Legend of Zelda, Wii U gamers find it difficult to wait till The Legend of Zelda X Mario Kart 8 and Animal Crossing X Mario Kart 8 release dates.
