Bones Season 10 Release Date, Latest News & Spoilers, Show Casts John Boyd as New FBI Character, Plus: An Episode That Will Focus on Afghanistan?

It seems like "Bones" is going to be filled with a lot of new plots and shocking twists as well as interesting characters once the latest season of this long running series finally hits TV this fall.

Starting this coming September, the new season will finally resume and pick up from where it left off at Season 9. In the shocking finale, Brennan and Booth's home was destroyed through a series of gunfire while Booth was wrongly accused for being the murderer of three federal agents after being framed up and arrested. According to sources, the upcoming 10th season will be starting four months after the events from Season 9 beginning with Booth still in prison and Brennan worrying about how she can help him get out of prison.

Although that seems to be the gist of the season premiere, Stephen Nathan, the executive producer of the hit TV series also revealed that a new and exciting character will be revealed: an outside challenge that Booth will be facing, "24" star John Boyd, who will be playing as an FBI character.

To make things more interesting, it seems like Cam and Arastoo might reach new milestones in their romance. "They will hit those challenges that every relationship hits as they get closer and closer," Nathan reportedly said.

A recently released video of the upcoming season also revealed an episode that would focus on Afghanistan. The episode will be dealing with issues about women, American politics and "the way educated women are treated in both countries."
