Nineties Worship Night and Yancy Collaborate on "History Maker"

Nineties Worship Night announces its inaugural collaboration with Dove Award winning artist and singer/songwriter Yancy on a remake of the 90s worship classic "History Maker," originally recorded by the band Delirious? on their King Of Fools album released in 1997.
Nineties Worship Night executive producer and recent Grammy award winner Jonathan Crone serves as music producer and mix engineer for this new recording, which is released through NWN Records and distributed by Integrated Music Rights, part of the Integrity Music family.
For more than two decades, Yancy has been making music for Christian music fans of all ages. As a songwriter, she has penned songs with Third Day frontman Mac Powell and has written both the Jaci Velasquez hit "Something Beautiful" and Avalon's chart-topping "I Don't Want To Go. " As an artist, Yancy has released radio-friendly pop/rock albums and multiple projects for kids and young adults, while sharing the stage with Michael W. Smith, Newsboys, Plumb and many more. With boundless energy, a myriad of creative channels, and an unflinching commitment to child discipleship, all mixed with a heart of worship at every diverse turn, Yancy Ministries has become a premiere destination for kids' worship music and church resources utilized in children's ministry around the globe. She's also the host of "Stained Glass Kids" Podcast, bringing light to the darkest parts of our stories as PK's and ministry kids.
Yancy explains that "Years ago, I began describing my music as music that makes Jesus loud. I'm all about a song that can rock out a bit. I believe God's Word is true when it tells us to shout to God with a voice of triumph (Psalm 47:1). But whether the song is loud or quiet, my desire remains unchanged: to declare the praises of my King with my entire being.
For these reasons, the song "History Maker" is the perfect collaboration between my ministry and that of Nineties Worship Night. In fact, I remember singing this song as a teenager and in my early years of worship leading. I get chills thinking of the prayer that is this anthem and how more than twenty-five years later it's still the cry of my heart. I'm excited to share this song with a new generation and testify they will be "History makers in this land."
Nineties Worship Night is a movement that includes recorded music, live events, a podcast, and a soon-to-be-released docuseries. NWN Founder and President Chad Gentry states that "Nineties Worship Night is a challenge to every single person in the Body of Christ to re-examine their faith in Jesus and reignite their passion in serving Him. Additionally, we want to minister to those who have stepped away from the faith and are drawn back in by impactful memories of these songs from the 1990s. Lastly, we pray that Nineties Worship Night will draw unbelievers who are moved by the authenticity of this time period and are compelled by the powerful narratives shared. Hopefully we are successful in creating connection points through our Docuseries, music, and live events that will have this type of impact."
"History Maker" featuring Yancy will also be included in Nineties Worship Night's second studio compilation album that is expected to be released sometime next year.
