Additionally, the set was the 12th most viewed video on YouTube only hours after it debuted.
"This is surreal," says Sapp. "I'm just soaking in the fact that people are responding so much to this Tiny Desk Concert. I had a lot of fun doing it and was honored by the invitation. Still, this response is beyond my wildest imagination."
Media outlets and personalities are talking about Marvin Sapp's Tiny Desk Concert. Jemele Hill said it was "brilliant of NPR" to have Sapp on, and that he "tore the cover off the mic." During a recent interview with Sapp, Ricky Smiley applauded the set and said that he "snapped" during his Tiny Desk Concert.
