Lynda Randle offers new CD with old traditional favorites ‘Ageless Hymns’
A while ago, Gospel singer Lynda Randle went back into the studio to record a new CD Ageless Hymns.
Ageless Hymns is an intimate project for all friends of Randle. Randle recorded the album with pianist Joey Gore who is her long time accompanist and friend.
The CD includes old traditional favorites that Randle grew up singing and a new song “Hide me Jesus,” written by Randle.
Lynda Randle’s Ageless Hymns includes songs like: “Sweet, sweet Spirit,” “In the garden,” “Jesus loves me,” “I am thine o Lord,” “Have thine own way,” “My faith looks up to thee,” “I’ve got peace like a river,” Hide me Jesus,” “Give me Jesus,” “No one ever cared for me like Jesus,” “Where you there,” “Near the cross,” “Great is thy faithfulness,” and a bonus track “I’ve got peace like a river,” with background vocals.
About Lynda Randle:
Lynda Randle accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at age 12. Her father who was an evangelist in Washington, D.C., led her to the Lord.
Randle ministered people across the United States and around the world with her distinct alto voice. She became a favorite on the Gaither Homecoming Series and Videos.
In 2005, Lynda Randle won a Dove Award for her album A Tribute to Mahalia Jackson.
Lynda Randle’s message and music are cross-cultural.
