Greg LaFollette Channels Mr. Rogers with His New Project "Always and Everywhere"

With the release of Volume One on January 17, 2025, Greg LaFollette formally announces his worship project for kids called Always and Everywhere. Born from a realization that 1/3 of the congregation he serves, Christ Church Anglican in Kansas City, is comprised of children, Always and Everywhere intends to serve and minister to young followers of Jesus wherever they are in their faith journey.
LaFollette says, "Mr. Rogers, without fail, would dignify children by kneeling down to their eye level as they spoke. He wanted them to know that he saw them...really saw them. As leaders, we can learn a lot from that action. Always and Everywhere is me, as a pastor, trying to emulate Fred Rogers as he emulated Jesus."
Musically, Volume One is reminiscent of much of LaFollette's offerings, but with catchier hooks, more pop production, and quicker tempos. While it remains rootsy, the record has a healthy dose of danceability; a New Orleans brass band takes center stage at one point. Overall, think early-Taylor Swift does fun liturgical worship music.
Always and Everywhere Volume One is preceded by LaFollette's Psalm 136 (Your Mercy Endures) which went to #1 on the iTunes New Zealand Christian & Gospel Chart as well as his 2025 release Liturgical Songs Volume One. With over 8 million streams on Spotify alone, LaFollette hopes this music will serve children all over the globe.
