TAYA Shares the Story Behind Her New Song “Worship!”

Globally renowned vocalist TAYA shares a new single titled "Worship!." You can save/download the track now. TAYA takes time to share her thoughts behind the song:
I started this song 4 years ago with my dear friend Lindsey Sweat and finished it in 2024 with 2 other friends, Hank & Jacob.
I sometimes think of songs as tools that I grab from my tool belt whilst leading, and just like when building, you need different tools for the different tasks and asks.This past year we lived out of suitcases for 5 months as a family of three (!!!) as we travelled all over the world whilst also trying to finish a record in Nashville. It was during those 5 months I spent a few days with Hank Bentley (co-writer of For All My Life) and Jacob Sooter. I knew I needed an upbeat, song 1 Praise type tool in my belt so we went for it.
We three loved what we came up with but there were 5 other songs with the same title haha so we pivoted. It was during this pivot that I remembered a song I had started with Linds years earlier but had never used. The verse set the chorus up perfectly so I sang it to them and the rest is history.
May this song cause you to consider and see afresh all that our Creator has done. That the revelation of Psalm 8:3-4 would become your own again or perhaps for the very first time."When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have set in place;
What is man that You think of him,
And a son of man that You are concerned about him?"The God of the universe, of all that we see, is mindful of us, His handiwork and He cares deeply. This is evidenced in the love of sending His Son Jesus to us and His unrelenting grace!!!
He truly is the WONDER WORKING, NEW LIFE BIRTHING, GOD WHO MAKES A WAY!! I can personally attest to this statement as there were many moments this past year where doubt reared it's head due to circumstances and it was tempting to give in. BUT GOD in His kindness, His never-changing faithfulness saw us through and gave me legs to walk out this testimony set to melody.
I pray that this song will cause you to explode in praise to God too for all that He has done!!
