Calvin Bridges Captures The Heart Of Christmas With a Catalog Of Music And a New Festive EP

Calvin Bridges is recognized as one of the living legends in Gospel music. He is a GRAMMY® nominated, Stellar Award-winning, and Rhythm of Gospel Award-winning singer and composer with a distinguished career spanning over three decades.
With the holiday season now upon us, Calvin has captured the heart and spirit of Christmas with his classic EP THAT'S WHAT I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS. His Christmas EP features timeless favorites and original tunes in Gospel, Jazz, and Urban Inspiration excellence.
The Chicago native croons a jazzy rendition of "The Christmas Song" and adds an original urban inspirational song and title track, "That's What I Want For Christmas." Calvin wants listeners to praise their way through the holidays his joyous song "Christmastime," and the beautiful ballad "There's A Candle."
The THAT'S WHAT I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS 4-song EP is available on all digital music outlets. Calvin has additional Christmas singles, including a soulfully crafted version of the favorite "Go Tell It," featuring the Chicago Praise Ensemble. His "Celebrate" single inspires listeners to reflect on the year with gratitude and carry a rejoicing spirit throughout the year.
Calvin continues to travel, minister, conduct music workshops, and perform with prestigious artists throughout the world. He was recently a guest at concerts and workshops in Kohl, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, with Tore W. Aas, famed Norwegian composer and choirmaster of the world-famous Oslos Gospel Choir. Calvin was also a guest performer with a 150-voice choir alongside Friedhelm Matter, conductor of the acclaimed German Gospel choir The Golden Harps.
Upon returning to the U.S., Calvin will work to complete the new music he has on the horizon in early 2025.
