Hannah Kerr Reveals Why Her New Album is Special to Her

Curb Records recording artist Hannah Kerr's sophomore album, As I Am, arrives on August 30, 2024. Fans can now pre-order, pre-add and pre-save the highly anticipated LP, as well as listen to the record's namesake, HERE.
"This album is so special to me, and I can't wait to finally share it with you," Kerr enthuses. "I wrote these songs in the past few years as I've gone through seasons of change, fear, joy and growth. Through it all, I've learned that there's nothing I can do to earn the love of God. He sees every detail of my life, and He doesn't change His mind about me. He loves me AS I AM.
The pop-centric album opener and title track finds the singer/songwriter realizing the truly unconditional nature of God's love. "As I Am" ultimately upholds the truth of God's astounding grace: God sees our imperfections and mistakes and loves us in spite of them. Wearing her heart on her sleeve, Kerr sings of her journey to accept that perfect love and see herself how God does, setting the tone for her fresh 14-track collection on the selection she wrote with Jonathan Gamble and Matthew Morrisey.
The upcoming set unveils new heights and depths of her songwriting, with Kerr co-penning each of the collection's 14 recordings, including lead single "Changed," the introspective "If I Were You" and poignant original "Church Hurt" - all available to hear ahead of the release of As I Am.
The buzzworthy singer/songwriter is currently a part of Big Daddy Weave's "Heaven Changes Everything Tour," where she's sharing new music each night, alongside signature songs like "Warrior" and "Same God." After a few weeks off, the "Heaven Changes Everything Tour" resumes July 17, 2024, in Hartland, Wis.
