Tori Harper, Mark and Sarah Tillman Release "It's Time"
Singer/songwriter Tori Harper and worship leaders / songwriters Mark & Sarah Tillman teamed up for the first time to write and record "It's Time" that is available today (July 19) at digital and streaming outlets globally through The Fuel Music via https://slinky.to/ItsTimeTH. With its lyric video premiering on CCM Magazine, the song is also set to go to radio outlets everywhere in the coming weeks.
"It's Time" was written by Harper, the Tillmans and Ed Sheeran's guitarist and GRAMMY®-nominated artist Mitch Parks. Parks, known for his work on projects by Zach Williams, Matt Maher and Housefires, also produced the track and split guitar, bass and keyboard parts on the song with Harper. Christian Paschall (Chris Tomlin, Crowder, Anne Wilson) mixed the track.
"When I was writing 'It's Time' with Mark, Sarah and Mitch, I was excited to put into words the hope God had shown me," says Harper. "There have been some difficult times for me over the last few years, but I have seen that God isn't finished. He has something new. I believe this newness God has isn't just for me but for everyone. He is always redeeming, restoring and renewing.
"The thing I hope people remember from this song is that the time is always right to become new," continues Harper. "God is calling us all to leave the dead things behind and step into His light and freedom!"
"'It's Time' is a declaration that it is always a good time to leave the past behind and step into the new that God has for us," encourages the Tillmans. "Writing this song with Tori, an amazing songwriter and artist in our community, took on new life as we compiled and combined our experiences of stepping into the new that God has for us while leaving the weights and heavy yokes of the past behind. We penned lyrics and sung the melody to share that with His praise on our lips. We can be sure of His plans, timing and that He has good plans for His sons and daughters."
"It's Time" chorus:
Sing oh sing my soul
Praise rise up extol
I will awake
I will arise
It's time
