American Horror Story Season 4: All The Latest News On The Release Date, Spoilers, Characters And Reports Of The Fourth Season Of American Horror Story
Now for all of you who have watched the other seasons of American horror story you can all say that it's just a freak show taken to the other level right? Well just to spill some spoilers a little, I will let you know that you should get ready for season 4 as it is said to be darker than ever. Ryan Murphy has been known to push boundaries and scaring viewers and it seems like his latest show is packed on with weird and scarier scenes.
According to a post by "Huffington", FX CEO John Landgraf said that the upcoming season will be less campy. "Some years it's going to be big and bright and brash and campy the way 'Coven' is. Other years it's going to be dark and brooding - like 'Asylum' was. I guess I would put 'Freak Show' half-way in between the two. It's got a little bit more humor and a little bit more camp, but it's got a brooding period feel to it also." He said this when he attended the TCA.
Landgraf promises that the new season will be very different from what fans are used to. He says that it will have a different look from what we have seen so far. Adding that "The characters are really distinctive, really original, some are really strange, but I think really compelling, I love what I've read so far."
Now Murphy is bringing back stars Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, and Sarah Paulson for the fourth season that is set to take place in Florida based as a freak shows in the 1950s. During Comic-Con in San Diego last month, the character names for the show were revealed. According to "JustJared.com", the characters include (Kathy Bates) Ethel Darling, (Evan Peters) Jimmy Darling, (Emma Roberts) Maggie, (Angela Bassett) Desiree Dupree, (Michael Chiklis) Dell Toledo the husband of Ethel and ex-husband of Desiree, (Sarah Paulson) Bette and Dot Tattler and (Jessica Lange) Elsa Mars. John Carroll Lynch will be the villain in the next season. Minear said that there will be 'a villain who will rival the rubber man and the Minotaur from previous seasons. He will scare the [four-letter word] out of you.
Season 4 is slated to start in October. Let's wait and see just how scary it will be.
