Danny Gokey To Gift Box Truck And Tool Bags To Support Families In Need

Better Than I Found It, the nonprofit organization founded by American Idol alum and three-time GRAMMY® nominee Danny Gokey, has announced their special "Bus Stop" Giveback event supporting local New Jersey nonprofit hearts+homes, providing them with a new Box Truck, along with To Go Tool Bags gifted by Danny's fans, to support families in need in Cranbury NJ on Thursday, 6/27.
"It's always great to give used furniture to someone in need, but hearts+homes has taken that to a whole other level," said Gokey. "When I heard about how they take a house and make it a home for a family in need, I knew we had to do something for them. I can't wait to surprise them."
During the Giveback event on Thursday, 6/27, Better Than I Found It will be presenting hearts+homes with a new Box Truck allowing them to transport furniture to families in need, as well as To Go Tool Bags gifted by Danny's fans. hearts+homes will also be celebrating their 4th birthday as an organization at this special event. hearts+homes provides beautiful, gently used furnishing and home goods to qualified, special-circumstance families, including underemployed, single moms, families emerging from crisis like homelessness and domestic violence, and refugees and immigrants settling into New Jersey's Mercer and Middlesex counties.
