Matt Boswell, Matt Papa and Michael Cochren (Cochren & Co.) Team Up for "His Mercy Is More"

Matt Boswell, Matt Papa and Michael Cochren (Cochren & Co.) have recorded a fresh rendition of "His Mercy Is More." The song was recorded live from the Sing! Conference.
Written by Matt Boswell & Matt Papa and featured on their first volume of hymns together, His Mercy Is More was inspired by a letter written by John Newton --- a slave trader who left his former life, became a pastor, and wrote the hymn "Amazing Grace."
Drawing on verses like Psalm 103:12 ("As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us"), the song calls us to praise the Lord for His gracious mercy, the strength of His love, and the depth of His forgiveness that welcomes us to find mercy and restoration in Him!
Lyrics
Praise the Lord
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness; new every morn
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more
What love could remember no wrongs we have done
Omniscient, all-knowing, He counts not their sum
Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more
Praise the Lord
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness; new every morn
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more
What patience would wait as we constantly roam
What Father, so tender, is calling us home
He welcomes the weakest, the vilest, the poor
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more
Praise the Lord
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness; new every morn
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more
What riches of kindness He lavished on us
His blood was the payment, His life was the cost
We stood 'neath a debt we could never afford
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more
Praise the Lord
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness; new every morn
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more
Praise the Lord
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness; new every morn
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more
