Anthony Brown & group therAPy Score their 5th #1 Song

The GRAMMY® award nominated and R.I.A.A. certified gold-selling gospel act, Anthony Brown & group therAPy, has taken the top spot on both the Billboard and Mediabase Gospel Airplay charts with their inspirational anthem, "Speak Your Name" (Key of A / Tyscot / Fair Trade). The track was produced by Brown with his longtime co-producer Justin Savage. The duo has collaborated for over a decade on chart-crushing hits such as "Trust in You," "I Got That," "Blessings on Blessings" and their signature track, "Worth," which spent 24 weeks at the No. 1 position on Billboard magazine's Gospel Airplay chart in 2015.

Brown wrote the mid-tempo cut that opens with him simply singing the words in his raspy baritone, "When we speak your name, something happens in the room. Our hands go up, we can't wait to see what you're gonna do." It's a spiritually moving rumination that swiftly builds into a crescendo of divine call and response vocalizing between Brown and group therAPy.
The single hails from Anthony Brown & group therAPy's first album in three years, Affirmations (Key of A / Tyscot / FairTrade). The 12-track set debuted on six Luminate non-published Album consumption charts, including the Current Gospel Albums chart where it peaked at No. 3. It also debuted at No. 16 on Billboard's hybrid Top Gospel Albums chart. "There's genuineness in the singing, majesty in the arrangements, and melodic variety in the selections," a reviewer wrote in The Journal of Gospel Music. "It is as bright, bristling, and optimistic in sound as its lyrics are intended to heal the hurt. A contender for best gospel album of the year."
