Motorola Moto X+1 Leaks New Photos Revealing "Near Final Prototype" of the Device, Which is Due Out in August or September 2014 and Is Similar to the Moto X In Price and Design
Much news has been leaked in recent months about the new Moto X + 1, the newest Android phone from Motorola. However, most of the leaks have revolved around specs for the phones name, customization options, or general makeup. We have now received a leak pertaining to the actual design of the phone.
Photos of "a near final prototype" of the Moto X+1 have been leaked onto the Internet in recent days. The device is very similar to the Moto X in design, while also sporting a wooden backside. The front boasts a speaker similar to that of the Moto E, and the screen is said to measure 5.1 inches, which is about four inches more than the one found on the Moto X.
The edges of the Moto X+1 will be trading the Moto X's plastic for a more hardy aluminum, and the backside will feature a camera with dual LED flash and an inset Motorola logo. Most believe that the Moto X+1 will feature at the end of September, which will put its premiere at a little over a year past that of the Moto X. The Moto X was one of the best handsets released last year, with input from Google in its software capabilities. It was one of the pricier models to hit the market last year, but price will be dropping by $100 to make it $299. Prices may drop even more when the Moto X+1 makes its debut sometime this fall. Prices for the new device have not yet been announced, but it is a fair guess that they will be somewhere in the $400-500 range, much like the original price of the Moto X.
