Grace Community Church posted a brief update on Monday about the health of the of the 83-year-old pastor. "Many of you are praying for Pastor John's health due to his absence from the pulpit during the second service. We are pleased to report that he is doing well.
"He saw a doctor on Sunday afternoon and he is in good health, and just needs rest from a busy holiday week. Thank you for your continued prayers for Pastor John."
MacArthur has been the pastor of Grace Community Church, a non-denominational church since February 9, 1969. During that time, MacArthur has reportedly preached over 3,000 sermons. He is currently the chancellor emeritus of The Master's University in Santa Clarita and The Master's Seminary.
