Produced by GRAMMY® and Academy Award nominated composer Stephan Moccio (Celine Dion, The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus, Barbra Streisand), the album is beautiful, intimate, lush and warm, capturing the magic of the season and the joy of togetherness.
The official video for their rousing rendition of José Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad" was released today and can be viewed HERE. The official video for lead single "The Greatest Gift" - a song written exclusively for the album - was shot at the Royal Castel Savoia in Gressoney, located in the beautiful Valle D'Aosta region in northern Italy. It was produced for an upcoming Christmas special for TBN through a collaboration with Impact Productions and Fargo Films. View HERE. Lyric videos for "Over The Rainbow" and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" have already been released. Additional videos will be unveiled in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
Andrea Bocelli will be joined by Matteo and Virginia on his U.S. tour, which will include songs from A Family Christmas. The run will kick off on December 1 at Chase Center in San Francisco and include Andrea's first performances in Bridgeport, CT, Savannah, GA, Indianapolis, IN and at the new venue UBS Arena on Long Island. He will return to NYC's Madison Square Garden on December 14. See below for itinerary. Tickets are available at https://www.andreabocelli.com/tickets.
At 24, Matteo Bocelli has launched his own successful solo recording career after signing to Capitol Records in 2019. He shot to fame in 2018 after duetting with his father on the hit song "Fall On Me" from Andrea's best-selling album, Sì, which debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. and U.K. charts. The moving video, which features images of father and son through the years, has now surpassed 100 million views (watch here). For 10-year-old Virginia Bocelli, this marks her first appearance on an album, having previously joined her father for a spine-tingling performance of "Hallelujah" during 2020's hugely popular Believe in Christmas concert, livestreamed from the Teatro Regio di Pama (watch here).
Andrea has also announced new U.S. tour dates for February and May 2023, featuring shows in Nashville, New Orleans, Sunrise, Tampa, Sacramento, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Minneapolis and two dates in Los Angeles returning to the legendary Hollywood Bowl. The tour includes Andrea's first time performing with The Nashville Symphony in Nashville and with The Louisiana Philharmonic in New Orleans. Tickets are available next week to Citi Card Members beginning on Monday, October 24 at 10 a.m. local time through Sunday, October 30 at 11:00 p.m. local time via www.citientertainment.com.
