Phil Wickham Scores His Third #1 Hit and Embarks on New Tour

Renowned worship leader and songwriter Phil Wickham scores his third #1 record this week. "House of the Lord" ascends to No. 1 on Billboard's Christian Airplay chart dated Oct. 16. Wickham co-wrote the song with Jonathan Smith, who solely produced it.
This is Wickham's third visit to the top. "House" is preceded by "Battle Belongs" which dominated the chart for four weeks starting in April this year. He first led with "This Is Amazing Grace" for 10 weeks beginning in March 2014.
Wickham comments, "It's been such a blast leading `House Of The Lord' out on the these tour nights. Amazing to hear all those voices sing out this truth of who God is, what He has done, and who we are in Him. AND very cool to get the news that `House Of The Lord' hit #1 on the Billboard Christian Radio Chart this week. This song has personally brought joy and fresh perspective to my heart in the middle of some trying and frustrating seasons. It's incredible to now see it go on to do the same for so many others. What an honor!"
Meanwhile, Wickham embarks on his nationwide 2022 "Hymn of Heaven Tour" featuring special guest Josh Baldwin. The 32-city tour will be sponsored by Compassion International. Tickets are on sale today - click here to purchase.
This tour is named after his newest album release, Hymn of Heaven (Fair Trade Services), which features 13 songs, including his multiple-week No. 1 hit "Battle Belongs" and the current Mediabase Christian Audience No. 1 song, "House of the Lord." This song is also No. 2 on Billboard's National Christian Audience and Christian Indicator charts. This is his eighth studio album, and it has already amassed 90.3 million streams and 32.8 million cumulative video views since its release this summer.
"It's been incredible to watch how these new songs have connected with people and church communities in the months since their release," shares Phil Wickham. "Truly moved by it all. Now I can't wait to gather in rooms all over the country to sing these songs and prayers together! I hope all of you can make it out to one (or several) of these nights!"
