Micah Tyler Gets Us Partying with New Video "Walking Free"

Singer and songwriter Micah Tyler has released a brand new radio edit version of "Walking Free." An upbeat celebration of the freedom we have in Christ, you will find yourself bobbing your head and tapping your feet in no time.
Tyler has also released a video to accompany the song. He describes the video as "one of the most special music videos I've ever been a part of. I have loved and admired the work that @wesleykeziah and the @ground_40 crew have been doing to share the Gospel and build the Kingdom in the lives of men for a few years now. And it was so special getting to share some of those stories with the rest of the world (more stories to come).
Big shout out to the director, @elliott_james for taking the time to help me make something beautiful and for Jacob Melton (assistant director) stepping in to help pull this thing off."
The original version of "Walking Free" is taken from Tyler's latest album New Today. For Micah Tyler, New Today is an all-encompassingrepresentation of his family, his story, the trials he's personally faced and how he's found God through all of it. He put special care not only into the message of the songs, but the melodies as well. He says, "I love this album so much because not only are we telling good stories and representing the Gospel, but it's so heavily influenced by music I've grown up listening to, everything from Elvis to Shane & Shane to Ray Charles and Boyz II Men. I wanted these songs to melodically convey all the differente motions so you could really feel what we're saying."
New Today does just that. It's a collection of songs filled with life's unexpected trials and joys told in a way that's as relatable as it is singable. "If you want a glimpse of what my life's been like the last three years," Micahsays with as mile, "it will take you about 53 minutes of listening to this album."
After having served as a youth pastor for over a decade, Micah Tyler has a true love and respect for the local church. To find out more, please visit MicahTyler.com.
