Kim Walker-Smith Joins Daniel Bashta on the New Single "Break Open"

Singer, worship leader, and songwriter Daniel Bashta has dropped a brand new worship single "Break Open." The song, which was written by Bashta, Ben Smith and Pat Barrett, finds Kim Walker-Smith joining Bashta on vocals.
Bashta has taken the time to talk about the song. "Break Open," which is based on 1 Cor. 13, speaks of our need to open up our hearts to receive God's love. "How do you open up your heart?" Bashta asks. "You make peace with the risk of life. To open your heart is to be getting better and better at receiving the fullness + goodness of life as it flows towards you in all its vast and varied forms.
To have an open heart is to be open to the infinite possibilities to any given moment. Open your heart all the more. So break open this box around my head around my heart. You're better then I think."
Kim Walker-Smith has this to say about the song, "@danielbashta wrote a REALLY good song and I got to sing it with him." The song has also received the thumbs up from worship music veteran Paul Baloche, who writes, "Y'all sound great together."
Here are the lyrics:
Love. Patient. Love. So Kind.
Love. Always. Always. With us.
Love. Faithful. Love Present.
Love. Always. Always. With us.
Break Open
This Box
Around my head
Around my heart
You're better then I think
You're better then I think
Love. Gracious. Love Sacred.
Love. Always. Always. With us.
Love. Healing. Love so freeing.
Love. Always. Always. With us
I'm waking up
I'm waking up
I'm waking up
To the wonder of Your love
