Sandra Bullock Stars in Real Horror Movie as Stalker, Corbett Breaks into Her Home While She Slept
Sandra Bullock found herself in a real life horror movie when she woke up in her second-floor bedroom to banging which was coming from her third floor workout room. The banging got louder and she went to close her bedroom security door, when she saw a man wearing a dark sweat shirt and dark pants moving toward the stairs. That is when she shut the door and immediately called 911. Within minutes the police were on scene and found Joshua James Corbett, going down the stairs telling them that he was trying to tell Bullock that her security had failed.
Corbett, 39 is her stalker and is quite obsessed with her. His delusion reaches the point that he believes he is actually her husband and the father of her son, Louis. He wrote in a letter, the previous day before the break in that he loved her and life without her would be miserable. In other statements, he did acknowledge that he had been watching her movement's everyday saying that she was his wife. Therefore, they were bound to each other by law and by God. This is where it gets scary. Apparently, When police searched his place, they found a cache of illegal weapons including a machine gun. It is very unclear at the moment why he had so many guns or what he planned to do with the weapons, but this is not the first case of stars being stalked.
There have been incidents where an unknown person just turned up outside of Halle Berry's kitchen, while another stalker was arrested inside Selena Gomez's guest home. Cases of stalkers are not unusual in Hollywood and it is probably because of the level of press the celebrities are given. Publicizing their personal information on social media and the internet has given people all access viewing to their personal itinerary. People now know where they will be and what they will be doing. As much as it is a necessary evil by the virtue of media nature, so should the security. Corbett scaled the two vast gates and forced open a sun room glass door. In fact, it is unknown how long exactly he had been in the house before the banging started. That is really scary, but also very unacceptable. Security should not have been that loose for him to get into the house that easily.
