"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" Season 6 Premieres Sunday July 13 on Bravo
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" season 6 will premiere on Bravo this Sunday, July 13. Fans of the housewives are eager to see what this season will bring. As frequent viewers of the show will know, friendships turn with the tide among the housewives. However, unlike many of the other "Real Housewives" shows, the New Jersey women are almost all related in some ways. Their blood ties create both an unbreakable bond and fuel on the fire for many of the housewives' disagreements.
Veteran housewives Teresa Guidice and Melissa Gorga will be setting aside their differences in the face of Teresa and her husband Joe's legal battle against fraud charges. Dina Manzo, also a returning housewife, will refuse to air details about her estrangement from her sister Caroline. We will also be seeing more of the husbands this season. Dina, now separated, will begin dating again during this season. New housewife Teresa and her husband Rino will treat audience to their antics while they run their own Italian restaurant.
Many fans are disappointed that Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita will no longer count themselves among the housewives on season 6, but don't worry; their absence will not result in less drama. Instead, there will be three new housewives: Amber Marchese, a former acquaintance of Melissa Gorga, and two friends of Marchese who also happen to be identical twins, Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea. Amber is a cancer survivor and apparently estranged from former friend Melissa, who claims she had no idea that Amber would be a new member of the "Real Housewives." Amber, meanwhile, blames the disintegration of their relationship on the fact that Melissa was not there for her during her battle with breast cancer. Double the wives, double the drama, double the fun!
