True Detective season 2 spoilers, release date and reveals; whats up next season
The second season of true detective is set to hit the screens by January and there is a lot of hubbub about the script and the casting. In the first season detective Rustin Cohle; played by Matthew McConaughey and Marty Hart played by Woody Harrelson, starred as the cops meant to stop a series of murders that had links to the occult groups in Louisiana. There have been a few rumors about the True Detective season 2 spoilers. There has been namedropping from Hollywood's best including Brad Pitt, Jane Chastain and Emma Stone. However, Nic Pizzolatto, the shows creator and script writer, remains tight lipped over much of the plot and categorically denied every rumor about the second season.
For one, he denied the presence of two female co-stars; saying that the show will have important female roles but will the lead role will not be female. In fact; Pizzolatto is quoted saying there are no sources about True Detective season 2. 'It is he and two other guys, who have an idea, and even they don't really know what's going on..'. Nic also said that the second season will differ in terms of the plot for the two detectives that featured in the first season. But of course, Nic loves to keep things cryptic and the only thing you will get is that True Detective season 2 will keep things strange.
As for the True Detective season 2 cast, everyone is dying to know about Nic's secret list, but he is not budging and it is doubtful that there will be a confirmation before August this year. Apparently the suspense is going to be worth it according to the show runner.
