We The Kingdom Scores their First #1 with "Holy Water"
Breakout Christian music/Country group We The Kingdom's debut single "Holy Water" officially earned the no.1 spot on the Christian Radio Airplay Chart this week of March 9th, 2020, adding yet another accolade to the colossal single. The song has become the fastest charting debut single from a Capitol CMG artist in the last 10 years.
"We are so overwhelmed that a song that we started in our basement studio about our own journeys has been able to reach the ears of so many people," We The Kingdom shared. "To have our first single go number one is just the greatest honor. Our hope has always been to make music that connects people with God, but also for people outside of the faith world or for people that have questions about their faith, and having a number one means we have an opportunity to connect with those people. What an amazing thing!"
"Holy Water" is the runaway hit of 2020. The song is currently in its 4th consecutive week at no. 1 on the Billboard Christian AC Chart, while simultaneously reaching the coveted no. 1 spot on Billboard Christian Audience Chart. The song debuted at no. 29 on Spotify's US Viral 50 chart, and has amassed over 27M global streams since. The live video for the track has reached over 4.5M views on YouTube, further cementing the song's mass appeal and staying power.
To date, We The Kingdom has amassed over 44M total streams and can be heard spinning on prominent official Spotify playlists including Top Christian, New & Bold, Christian Hits, Songs of Glory and more. They have also been tapped as one of YouTube's Artists On The Rise. The group is currently on the road providing direct support to Grammy-Award winning artist, Zach Williams, on the nationwide Rescue Story Tour, with 11 dates currently sold-out. They are gearing up to release new music this summer following their latest EP release Live Acoustic Sessions which includes the acoustic version of their no. 1 song.
